 Re: Oxygen Acetylene Cylinder Exchange in reply to Tim Brake, 03-29-2007 11:36:20   I'm with Tim. Also they sure don't mind taking your money when you buy the tanks. If they don't like us who buy tanks, why do they sell them. As far as safety they can get off of it. One I delt with a long time stopped working on regulators and wanted a high minium just to send them off and it would take a few days. I said, I'm sure you have some parts still left, just sell them to me and I will fix it my self. Their reply was I can't because of safety, you might not fix it right. Now get off it I said, If if a part seller were liabal for my work you couldn't buy a part for anything enywhere. I also added if this faulty regulator kills me because you won't sell me part for it my wife will think you are at fault because you prevented me from fixing it and she might come after you. Rest of the story. I went home and got some old regulators that was like mine, took them apart and used parts and fixed mine. Regulators aren't rocket sceince. It has been working fine past 5 years and I now deal with another company.
